6 Stay Lean Vacation Tips

Lean Vacation Tip #1: Decide Not to Gain Weight

Lean Vacation Tip #2: Exercise Every Day – you can do relaxation type exercise like long walks, swimming, hiking, or my favorite, hitting the hotel gym and creating an acceptable workout with minimal equipment.  On my last trip, I did 100 lunges, 100 sit ups and 100 push ups every day.

Lean Vacation Tip #3: Indulge while Watching Your Portions – you’ll be eating out for all your meals, so order and eat appropriately.

Lean Vacation Tip #4: Avoid Ordering Sweets  – you’re not there for the deserts.  Stick with fruit.

Lean Vacation Tip #5: Don’t Eat Fried Foods -all restaurants and fast food places have better options.  Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean you have to eat it, or at least not at every meal.

Lean Vacation Tip #6: Here’s A Hotel Room Workout

If your hotel doesn’t have a gym, or if you’d simply prefer the privacy of your room, do this hotel room workout:

Hotel Room Workout

100 Bodyweight Squats
Run in place for 60 seconds.
Walking Lunges or Lunge in Place: 3 sets of 20 reps
Run in place for 60 seconds.
100 Push Ups: girls can do girl style and go for 3 sets of 20.
Run in place for 60 seconds.
Crunches or sit-ups: 3 sets of 20 reps
Run in place for 60 seconds.

There’s 6 tips that will keep away the unnecessary vacation weight gain. You might end up losing a pound or two.

But let’s be honest, you want to lose more than a pound or two. You want to lose all of those extra pounds.
